Design & Consultancy

Our dedicated team with the experience and knowledge of various traffic management systems aim to produce a safe and cost effective solution for each and every project.  The success of our effective road traffic management systems is in our approach.  Greentown can undertake works from the initial planning stage, continuously through all the aspects of traffic management, right through to the completion of the project. Individual assessments are conducted for every project to determine specific and comprehensive information and in-depth liaison with the local authorities are carried out so that full support and agreement can be reached on our clients’ behalf.

By making the most of the latest specialised software technology available, we can generate site specific traffic management tenders, which thoroughly demonstrates our commitment and dedication to customer service. Using the latest computer programme AutoCAD, we are able to create drawings, and involve all parties during discussion stage, i.e. our clients, contractors and local authorities.  These drawings can be easily reviewed and identify how the traffic management will look and operate.

WE SPECIALISE IN ALL ASPECTS OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE NATIONALLY RECOGNISED HIGHWAYS SECTOR SCHEMES 12A, 12B, AND 12D. WE ALSO SPECIALISE IN ALL ASPECTS OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORT ON LEVEL 1 TO LEVEL 6 ROADS.

• Sector scheme 12A – Static temporary traffic management on motorways and high-speed dual carriageways for schemes incorporating contraflow operations and/ or temporary road markings.
• Sector scheme 12B – Static temporary traffic management on motorways and high-speed dual carriageways where temporary road markings are not required.
• Sector scheme 12D – For installing, maintaining and removing temporary traffic management on rural and urban roads.
• Road Level 6 - Static temporary traffic management on motorways and high-speed dual carriageways for schemes incorporating contraflow operations and/ or temporary road markings 100 – 120 km/h
• Road Level 5 - Static temporary traffic management on motorways and high-speed dual carriageways 50 – 80 km/h
• Road Level 1 - 4 - For installing, maintaining and removing temporary traffic management on rural and urban Single Carriageway roads 30 – 100 km/h

Event Management

We provide cone and barrier deployments for events and roadworks carried out across Northern Ireland.  Our dedicated staff are responsible for creating plans based on our clients needs and providing a professional and efficient service.  ​We can also provide all types of traffic management equipment on a short or long term hire basis, these include:
